Pick 6 Fantasy Baseball, August 30

YEAH

I sort of wish I'd played Matt Harvey in my Pick 6 team last night. He was a lot cheaper than the pitcher I ended up with, and he scored better (more on that later). And beyond that, he's a Met and I like him, and that's always a bit more fun. It looked like a lot of you did pick him, so good job there.

So...let's see how we all did.

Star-divide

Here are the scores from yesterday:

Rank Player Score
1 BurleighGrimes 60.8
2 anonymous 43.1
3 BobbyV_Incognito 42.8
4 Thomas Wachtel 41.7
5 Ceetar 40.4

Everyone from second to fifth was really close (aside: huzzah for me!), but good job by BurleighGrimes to get some separation from the pack. It wasn't quite enough, though, to get into the weekly top five.

Rank Player Score
1 IanB in MD 122.1
2 HELLYEAHGARYOAK 108.8
3 Ceetar 96.2
4 hypeprospect 90.5
5 gstatman 89.0

Our top two have reversed order, and Ceetar comes into the top five. The lead is fairly big, but not safe by any means, with over half the week's games still to go.

I was 4th yesterday, somehow. Let's see what that somehow was.

Slow and steady wins the race, you guys. Here's my team for today.

JON NIESE SWAG. I decided to go with the "spend big on two players, surround them with cheap stuff" strategy. Let's see how it plays out.

All players are subject to the official Pick 6 rules. Go to the Pick 6 homepage to get started!
