DEADLINE.COM is reporting that JIM ROME is "finalizing a deal" with CBS RADIO which would move the syndicated sports talker's show to CBS SPORTS RADIO.
ROME's show has been syndicated by PREMIERE for several years; on the television side, he left ESPN for CBS SPORTS in JANUARY, launching a show for cable's CBS SPORTS NETWORK in APRIL.? CBS SPORTS RADIO is launching in SEPTEMBER, with a full daily sports talk schedule slated for JANUARY, featuring former ESPN RADIO host DOUG GOTTLIEB.
